The story

The cake that bathes in three milks: condensed, evaporated, cream. Curiously, it owes its popularity to the canned-milk industry, which printed the recipe on its labels from the 1940s onward — from Mexico to Peru it thus became the celebration dessert of an entire continent. Moist, cool, sweet: the spoon glides in by itself.
